Accessibility

Our commitment

Phenomenail™ is committed to making our websites and online learning experiences accessible to the widest possible audience. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and to make reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010.

If you have difficulty using any part of our site or training materials, tell us and we’ll work with you to provide an accessible alternative promptly.

Conformance status

We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully meet the accessibility standard yet.

How we test

  • Self-assessment using keyboard-only navigation and screen reader spot-checks (NVDA/VoiceOver).

  • AI audits and site analytics of sections, headings, landmarks, navigation, alt text and link clarity

  • Automated audits for colour contrast, landmarks, and headings.

  • Content reviews for captions/alt text and link clarity.

Scope and platforms

This statement covers our websites and digital services hosted on Wix, and live sessions delivered via Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Some features (e.g., payment checkouts or embedded social media) are provided by third parties. We try to select accessible providers and configure them appropriately, but some elements may be outside our direct control.

Compatibility

Our site works with the latest versions of common browsers including Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
For the best experience, enable JavaScript and use a browser with current security updates. This site is best experienced via desktop although every measure is taken to ensure fully compatability with mobile devices.

Measures we take

  • Provide meaningful headings, labels, and consistent navigation.

  • Ensure sufficient colour contrast and visible focus states.

  • Use alt text for informative images; mark decorative images appropriately.

  • Maintain keyboard access for menus, dialogs, and forms.

  • Offer captions or transcripts for pre-recorded course content wherever feasible.

  • Review third-party integrations for accessibility impact.

Known limitations

  • Some legacy posts may be missing descriptive alt text.

  • Certain embedded third-party widgets may not expose ideal labels to assistive tech.

  • Older video content may lack full captions; we can provide transcripts on request.

We are actively addressing these areas as we update content and features.

Reasonable adjustments for training and services

If you are enrolling on a course or booking services, you can request adjustments such as:

  • Alternative formats (e.g., large print or accessible PDFs).

  • Extra time for assessments or flexible scheduling.

  • Live captions (where platform-supported) or written summaries.

Please contact us at least 10 working days before your session so we can make arrangements.

Feedback and contact

For accessibility feedback or requests, contact the support team. See the Privacy Policy for how to get in touch.

Escalation

If you’re not satisfied with how we respond, you can seek advice from the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) or raise a complaint with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC).
